A brief change from the norm this week, as Thursdays Blog is being written on Wednesday evening, as if you’re reading this at your normal time on Thursday then I’ll probably be off up the A1 on my way to Sheffield!
Well, that was a relief….LOADS OF GAMES OF FOOTYBALL TOOK PLACE THIS WEEKEND!! It’s been a few weeks since the lower leagues played their games, but you could hear the sigh of relief all over the UK, when the nation’s grassroots footballers woke up on Saturday morning to the sight of frost free grass!

I guess that the inevitable happened this weekend…the majority of football matches falling foul to the inclement British weather. I shouldn’t be too surprised as it happens every year, but what never fails to disappoint me is the fact that the country seems to come to a grinding halt at the first sign of a snow flake!

The fantatstic news this morning is that we received our delivery of the new Optimum Pro goalkeeper gloves yesterday...the bad news is that they didn't arrive until 30 minutes before closing!
Mondays are always a fun time in the WarbyGK office - from stories about the weekend, to our busiest day of the week for sales. It seems that after the weekends games, goalkeepers go online to buy themselves new gloves as their old pairs have finally given up the ghost on them!
