"We are writing to confirm that your consignment of clothing has left the factory today” Woo Hoo, Happy Days!

 

This was the beginning of an email we received yesterday, with the remainder going on to list the tracking details and other boring bits, but the conclusion was that we all ended up in a very excited mood!

 

When the Warby concept first began, it was an ambition to have a clothing range however I was always mindful of offering something that’s a little different, and something that I believe is wanted by the goalkeeper. I was also determined that we would not increase the product range until we had the business stability to do so, as I would never want to jeopardise the brand.

 

When I say that it was me that was mindful is not entirely true…..if it was left down to me then chances are I could have quite easily sank the business in the early days with my eagerness to become the next big thing! In truth, and as mentioned before, there is a great team involved behind the scenes with WarbyGK, and great support from our goalkeeping family, that I am often reined in with my enthusiasm!

 

Hopefully (he says) we should have the clothing early next week, and hopefully (again) we should also have the 360 degree images back to coincide with their launch on our swanky new website. We have had wonderful feedback regarding our "spinning gloves” and we also try to show the products as fully as possible to help you make your decision, so we are extending this feature to the clothing also. Keep your eyes peeled on the site, as for over the next few days the following products should slowly begin to trickle onto the site…..
