Long day ahead...

The fantatstic news this morning is that we received our delivery of the new Optimum Pro goalkeeper gloves yesterday...the bad news is that they didn't arrive until 30 minutes before closing!

 

Cue a long night for me, made even longer by the fact that it was Parents Evening at my Daughters School just an hour after the gloves were delivered so I had to postpone the ceremionial unpacking of the boxes until afterwards.

 

One plus point of that was that it meant I could grab a KFC on the way back from the School to bring to the office for my Tea! It really is all glamour, this job!

 

Sadly though, I only managed to power through a few boxes before time beat me and I had to concede defeat to my heavy eye lids. I thought that I'd done well though, considering that I got nearly half way through the consignment before wrapping up for the night. Whisper it quietly but I had to leave the others cartons outside in the corridor as I'd run out of space to unpack them (if I could had the energy to tidy up after myself then no drama - but I didn't!).

 

When the Couriers booked in the delivery, they asked what our opening times were..."OK, we'll be there early morning" they replied. So, never learning from their past failures, I decide to get everyone and everything organised for an early delivery to tear through the consignment....and we wait, and wait, and wait, then some go home....and then it all falls to muggins here to sort out! Doh!

 

I managed to quickly add the new gloves to the website late last night, and we'll send them off to get the 360 degree photography done today, so everything is good to go and the 2012 range of Warby Goalkeeper Gloves is now complete!
